Stained Cloth SUV Seat: Shampooed and Extracted
Dark water rings, body-oil stains and ground-in dirt were worked into the cloth and suede-style bolsters. Hot-water extraction lifted what vacuuming couldn't.
The result

The challenge
The seat bottom and backrest had dark water rings, body-oil stains and ground-in dirt worked into the cloth and suede-style bolsters, the kind of staining vacuuming can't touch.
What we did
- Thorough vacuum and brush agitation to loosen embedded dirt
- Pre-treated stains with a fabric-safe cleaner
- Hot-water extraction (shampoo) to pull the dirt and residue out of the fabric instead of pushing it deeper
- Extracted with clean water to prevent new water rings
- Groomed the fabric and left the seat to dry
FAQ
Can stains on cloth car seats be removed?
Most food, drink, sweat and dirt stains come out with hot-water extraction; some old dye-transfer or bleach spots can only be lightened, and we'll tell you up front.
How long do seats take to dry?
Usually a few hours depending on weather; we extract thoroughly to keep drying time short.
Is seat shampoo included in the $149 Interior Special?
Yes, steam or shampoo of seats, carpets and mats is included; excessive pet hair or ground-in food/dirt is +$50; large SUVs and trucks +$40.
